The drive (5) has a casement frame (3) that is rotatably mounted on a handle (4) and a gear. The housing is provided with a mounted drive pinion meshing with a drive rack and an output gear. The toothed rack is meshed with a tie rod (6) coupled to the housing guided in a longitudinally displaceable portion. The axis of rotation of the driven pinion is parallel with respect to the displacement plane of the driving toothed rod. The extending axis of the drive pinion is oblique to the displacement plane of the handle facing away from an acute angle.

Ein Antrieb (5) eines Riegelstangenbeschlages eines Fensters oder einer Tür, bestehend aus einem am Flügelrahmen (3) drehbar gelagerten Handgriff (4) und einem im Flügelrahmen (3) angeordneten Getriebe mit einem durch den Handgriff (4) betätigbaren und in einem Gehäuse (7) gelagerten Antriebsritzel (12), welches mit einer Antriebszahnstange (14) kämmt und mit mindestens einem Abtriebsritzel (16), wobei das mindestens eine Abtriebsritzel (16) sowohl mit einem verzahnten Bereich (17) des Gehäuses (7) wie auch mit einer Zahnstange (8) kämmt, die ihrerseits mit mindestens einer Riegelstange (6) koppelbar und gegenüber dem Gehäuse (7) längs verschiebbar geführt ist, ist so ausgebildet, dass das Abtriebsritzel (12) mit einer Schräg- oder Pfeilverzahnung versehen und die Antriebszahnstange (14) mit einer entsprechenden Schräg- oder Pfeilverzahnung ausgestattet ist.
