Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2013060885A2] The aim of the invention is to broaden the applicability of the film supply in a coating module for transferring imaging layers from a transferring film onto a printing material. This is achieved in that a bordered pressing surface is arranged in the coating module for transferring layers from the transferring film. Thus, a targeted control of the film feed is possible. The transferring film is preferably guided past a press roll with a limited width and in an approximately tangential manner. Specific cyclically-drivable conveying devices for this purpose are provided in order to convey the film, said conveying devices being designed as drive groups, each of which comprises a film driving roll 70 and a cycle drive 71 for feeding the transferring film 5 to and from the transfer gap 6 in a cyclical manner, and the film driving roll 70 carries out a film return stroke.
