Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013117208A2] The invention relates to a method for performing drilling in which a drilling device is moved from a starting point to a destination point along a drilling path, with force introduced via a pipe string, wherein an annular space between pipe string and stone, which is filled with a lubricant, is created during the drilling, the lubricant being supplied to the annular space via at least one lubricant line with a pump. The invention addresses the problem of improving the above-mentioned method such that longer pipe-laying is possible. The problem is solved by subdividing the drilling path lengthwise into sections, assigning a stone to each section, calculating a target quantity of lubricant to be dispensed for each section, incorporating an annular space volume provided in each section into the calculation, and incorporating a stone factor, resulting from the stone of the section and the absorption capacity of the stone with respect to the lubricant, into the calculation.
