[origin: WO2013061241A1] A gas burner for a hob, with a container detecting system - The gas burner is remarkable in that said detection system (4), intended for enabling or disrupting the gas supply of the burner by the presence or the absence of the container, is of the magnetic type and comprises: - a moving magnet (15), connected to said burner and arranged for being moved by the container when the latter is placed in a cooking position, and - a magnetic detector (16) arranged on the hob for detecting the movement of the magnet by the container and for enabling the gas supply of the burner.
