The table (1) has plate portions (2a,2b) that are arranged relative to each other in storage position. The edge portions of plate portions are arranged in a plane (E1) to face each other in use position. The plate portions are locked with connection component (7) by a locking device (14) in use position. The plate portions are engaged at connection component, when plate portions are pivoted from storage position to use position. The engaging of plate portions at connection component is prevented, when plate portions are pivoted from use position to storage position.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Tisch (1) mit zwei Plattenteilen (2a, 2b). Die beiden Plattenteile sind relativ zueinander aus einer Verstaulage (2a'', 2b'') in eine Nutzungslage (2a''', 2b''') verschwenkbar, wobei die Plattenteile (2a, 2b) in der Nutzungslage (2a''', 2b''') im Wesentlichen in einer Ebene (E1) angeordnet sind. In der Nutzungslage (2a''', 2b''') sind zudem Randabschnitte (13a, 13b) beider Plattenteile (2a, 2b) einander zugewandt. Ferner ist ein Verbindungsbauteil (7) vorgesehen, mit welchem die Plattenteile (2a, 2b) jeweils um eine Achse (21, 22) schwenkbar gekoppelt sind. Der Tisch (1) weist darüber hinaus eine Verriegelungseinrichtung (14) auf, mittels welcher die Plattenteile (2a, 2b) in der Nutzungslage (2a''', 2b''') mit dem Verbindungsbauteil (7) verriegelbar sind. Die Verriegelungseinrichtung (14) ist derart ausgebildet, dass sie beim Verschwenken der Plattenteile (2a, 2b) aus der Verstaulage (2a'', 2b'') in die Nutzungslage (2a''', 2b''') in einer Vorverriegelungslage (2a', 2b') ein Einrasten zumindest eines der Plattenteile (2a, 2b) an dem Verbindungsbauteil (7) bewirkt und dass die Plattenteile (2a, 2b) nach dem Einrasten an einer Zurückbewegung in die Verstaulage (2a'', 2b'') gehindert sind.
