[origin: EP2772603A2] The rod latch has a lock housing (19), in which a lock cylinder is arranged with a rotatable locking arm (41), and two locking bars (21a,21b) which are extended from the lock housing by actuating the lock cylinder in an opposite manner. The locking bars are driven by drive elements (43a,43b) to the extension movement, where the drive elements are mounted to one another in the lock housing in a separating manner.
