Schnittschutzlage für eine Schnittschutztextilie, insbesondere für Arbeitsschutzbekleidung, umfassend eine Tragestruktur (12) aus Fadenmaterial und eine Mehrzahl von an der Tragestruktur (12) sich nebeneinander erstreckend getragenen Schnittschutzfäden (18), wobei wenigstens ein Teil der, vorzugsweise im Wesentlichen alle Schnittschutzfäden (18) aus UHMWPE-Material aufgebaut ist, oder/und wenigstens ein Teil der, vorzugsweise im Wesentlichen alle Schnittschutzfäden (18) aus LCP-Material aufgebaut ist.
