[origin: EP2775083A2] The device has a spacer element (14) attached with a support surface (12), and a head provided with a fastening element e.g. screw or self-drilling screw. The spacer element is provided with a guide part (22), which is inserted into a passage (24) of a structure (16) for a pre-assembly of the device. The fastening element is engaged with the guide part and spacer element after assembly of the device. A positive connection is formed between the spacer element and the structure. The guide part is formed with a centering borehole (30) in a longitudinal axis (26). An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a device for fixing a structure in an aperture of a support surface.
