The vacuum pump rotor has multiple separate rotor elements (10,12). Each rotor element has a rotor disk (18), which is connected to the cylindrical projections (14,16) that form a shaft section of the rotor. The projections of the rotor elements are connected to each other such that the projections form a rotor shaft.

Ein Vakuumpumpenrotor, insbesondere ein Turbomolekularpumpenrotor weist mehrere gesonderte Rotorelemente (10) auf. Jedes Rotorelement (10) weist mindestens eine Rotorscheibe (18) auf. Die Rotorscheibe (18) ist mit einem zylindrischen Ansatz (12, 14) verbunden, der einen Wellenabschnitt des Rotors bildet. Die Ansätze (12, 14) der Rotorelemente (10, 12) sind derart miteinander verbunden, dass die Ansätze (12, 14) eine Rotorwelle ausbilden.
