[origin: EP2775569A1] The connector (1) has a connector housing (11) which is set with contact element which is arranged in contact element retainer and mounted in element storage area. The storage area in retainer facing towards edge of housing is formed around contact element receiving opening (15). A complementary contact element is partially inserted through opening in retainer. An electric contact between contact element and complementary contact element is produced. A locking element (13) is positioned in retainer relative to housing for slidably sealing opening in initial position.
