The device (1) has a cooking field (11) comprising a cooking point (21) and a heating device (2) for heating a cooking area (31). A sensor device (3) detects physical parameter e.g. temperature, of cookware or foods in a detection area (83) and has a sensor unit and an optical screening device. The sensor device has an insulation device, and the screening device is partially arranged around the sensor unit for screening electromagnetic radiation from an outer side of the detection area. The screening device is partially enclosed by the insulation device and designed as a cylinder.

Kocheinrichtung (1), umfassend ein Kochfeld (11) mit wenigstens einer Kochstelle (21) und mit einer zur Beheizung wenigstens eines Kochbereiches (31) vorgesehenen Heizeinrichtung (2) sowie mit einer Sensoreinrichtung (3) zur Erfassung einer physikalischen Größe in einem Erfassungsbereich (83). Die Sensoreinrichtung (3) weist eine Sensoreinheit (13) und eine optische Schirmeinrichtung (7) und eine Isolierungseinrichtung (8) zur thermischen Isolierung auf. Die optische Schirmeinrichtung (7) ist um die Sensoreinheit (13) herum angeordnet, um elektromagnetische Strahlung von außerhalb des Erfassungsbereiches (83) abzuschirmen. Die die optische Schirmeinrichtung (7) ist wiederum von der Isolierungseinrichtung (8) umgeben angeordnet.
