The device (1) has a cooking area (11) with a cooking point (21), and a heating device (2) that is arranged for heating of a cooking zone (31). A sensor device (3) is arranged for detecting a physical quantity. The cooking area is arranged with a support unit (5) that is suitable and adapted for positioning a container containing an item to be cooked. A damping device is arranged in a partially elastic manner and is utilized for arranging the sensor device in an installation position below the support unit.

Kocheinrichtung (1), umfassend ein Kochfeld (11) mit einer Kochstelle (21) und eine zur Beheizung eines Kochbereiches (31) vorgesehene Heizeinrichtung (2). Eine Sensoreinrichtung (3) dient zur Erfassung wenigstens einer physikalischen Größe. Das Kochfeld (11) weist eine Trägereinrichtung (5) auf, welche zum Positionieren wenigstens eines Gargutbehälters geeignet und ausgebildet ist. Es ist eine Dämpfungseinrichtung (102) vorgesehen, mittels welcher die Sensoreinrichtung (3) in Einbaulage des Kochfeldes (11) unterhalb der Trägereinrichtung (5) elastisch angeordnet ist.
