[origin: WO2013068239A2] Method for setting the spacings between cylinders of an inking unit which delimit at least two cylinder nips, and in which method the spacings are set on the basis of measured values which are obtained from the surface of at least one of the cylinders of the inking unit. It is considered to be novel and inventive that, during the setting of the spacing between the two cylinders which delimit a second cylinder nip, knowledge is used which was obtained during the setting of the spacing between the two cylinders which delimit a first cylinder nip. A printing press for carrying out the described method is also described and claimed.
