Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013068446A1] The invention relates to a flashlight having integrated rolling protection, comprising a rod-shaped housing (1), at the first end (2) of which a light body (3) is arranged and at the opposite, second end (4) of which a cap (5) is arranged, wherein the light body (3) has a light outlet opening (6) and a circumferential wall (7) having a rounded outer contour, which circumferential wall surrounds the light outlet opening, and the circumferential wall (7) is designed as having at least one rolling protection surface (9a, 9b, 9c) that cuts the cross-section of the circumferential wall in the manner of a secant. The aim of the invention is to provide a flashlight having effective and captive rolling protection. Said aim is achieved according to the invention by means of a flashlight for which a support ring (10) raised relative to the rod-shaped housing (1) is formed on the second end (4) or the cap (5), the outer contour of said support ring lying in a common plane (11) with the at least one rolling protection surface (9a, 9b, 9c).
