[origin: EP2777843A1] The method comprises: forming a hollow chamber with a wall, where the hollow chamber is a hollow body (1); introducing the hollow body into a casting tool (5); supplying a liquid material into the casting tool to enclose the hollow body; and accommodating the hollow body in a transporting unit (7) for moving the hollow body in the casting tool with its terminal body portions (35). The hollow body is moved using a transfer tool (31). An independent claim is included for a device for producing a cast component.
