Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2778011A1] The component (100) has a container (110) i.e. compressed air tank, provided for storing fluids, and a protection element (120) i.e. punched shield, adapted by the container such that the container is partially enclosed at a defined space from outer side of the container. The protection element is formed with a half shell, which is made a curved metal sheet, and front ends of face plates are welded with each other. The protection element is secured at a container attachment element (140), which is attached with a support frame (160). An independent claim is also included for a kit for manufacture of a pressurized air component for a rail vehicle.
