The housing (1) has a bottom module (2) comprising a rear wall (3), side walls (4, 5) and a front wall (6), which is arranged between the side walls for a frameless construction of the housing. The rear wall is fixed in an upper region with integration of metal brackets, which is in positive connection with the rear wall. Bottom portions of the side walls are merged at the bottom module in a form closure, which is held under a backlash. Punched holes are formed in lower side edge profiling parts (10) of the side wall.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Gehäuse (1) für Haushaltsgeräte wie beispielsweise Wäschetrockner, Waschmaschine, Geschirrspülmaschine oder dergleichen, welches in seiner Grundbauform ein Bodenmodul (2), eine Rückwand (3), Seitenwände (4, 5) und eine Vorderwand (6) umfasst. Gemäß der Erfindung sind die Seitenwände (4, 5) zum rahmenlosen Aufbau des Gehäuses (1) zwischen der Vorderwand (6) und der Rückwand (3) im oberen Bereich unter Einbindung von Blechwinkeln (7) und formschlüssiger Verbindung festgelegt, wobei im unteren Bereich die Seitenwände (4, 5) am Bodenmodul (2) in einem unter einem Spiel gehaltenen Formschluss eingebunden sind.
