Abstract (en)
The blower (2) has a spiral housing (3) comprising two releasably interconnected housing halves (4, 5), where each of the housing halves is arranged with an inlet (6) having a fan (13) that is accommodated in the spiral housing. A blower motor (36) e.g. brushless direct current motor, is arranged to drive the fan, and a motor suspension (31) is arranged to support the fan motor inside of fan. The motor suspension is arranged to support the blower motor on only one housing half and at one air inlet whose delimiting edge is flanged. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembly of a twin-channel centrifugal blower.

Ein doppelflutiges Radialgebläse (2) für eine Dunstabzugshaube (1), mit einem spiralförmigen Gehäuse (3), welches zwei lösbar miteinander verbundene Gehäusehälften (4, 5) aufweist, die jeweils einen Lufteinlass (6, 7) umfassen, einem Lüfterrad (13), welches in dem Gehäuse (3) aufgenommen ist, einem Gebläsemotor (36), welcher das Lüfterrad (13) antreibt, und einer Motoraufhängung (31), welche den Gebläsemotor (36) innerhalb des Lüfterrads (13) haltert, wobei die Motoraufhängung (31) den Gebläsemotor (36) ausschließlich an einer Gehäusehälfte (4) haltert und an einem einen Lufteinlass (6) derselben begrenzenden Rand (14) angeflanscht ist.
