Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2778800A1] The mechanism has a differential device for outputting a running equation minute that drives a true running equation minute (56) to drive a true running equation hour (60) through a true equation motion work (58). A time zone wheel (80) is integrated with an arbor carrying a true running equation hour hand (78). A difference and display gear train (62) is coupled to the work to apply a time difference associated with a longitude position of a user to the hour. The time zone wheel applies difference between the hour and a civil hour to the arbor in forward or backward steps of one hour. An independent claim is also included for a method for setting a universal time running equation mechanism.
