Abstract (en)

The method involves removing only an external insulating sheath of a shielded cable over an annular part located at an end connected to an electrical connector (20) without stripping the cables of electromagnetic shield. The shielded cables are grouped together to form a strand (16). The strand is surrounded by an electrically conductive strip (32) in contact with the electromagnetic shield of the shielded cables, and the electrically conducting strip is connected to the connector. An independent claim is also included for a connection assembly for connecting a strand.

Le procédé de reprise des blindages des câbles d'un toron (16) sur un connecteur électrique (20), consiste, sur une partie annulaire située à une extrémité reliée au connecteur (20), à retirer uniquement la gaine isolante extérieure (14) de chaque câble blindé (10) sans dénuder les câbles de leur le blindage électromagnétique (13), à regrouper les câbles blindés (10) en un toron (16) et à entourer le toron (16) d'une bande électriquement conductrice formant une gaine de reprise de blindage (32) du toron (16), la gaine de reprise de blindage (32) étant positionnée en contact avec le blindage électromagnétique (13) des câbles blindés et reliée au connecteur (20).
