[origin: EP2779785A1] The device has an electrical heating element arranged within a casing tube (1) and pushed together with the jacket tube on a tubular component. The casing tube comprises a slot (11) running in an axial direction of the tubular component. The casing tube is formed from a plaited metal sheet with a base layer and with a plating layer that is applied on the base layer. The plating layer is formed from iron-nickel, nickel chromium or nickel-copper-aluminum alloys. The base layer is formed from irons, coppers or nickels or alloys.
