[origin: WO2013072743A1] The invention relates to an orthodontic appliance in which a rod (4) connects a lower tray (8) linked with the lower jaw to an upper tray (6) linked with the upper jaw of the same patient. Said rod, which is a single part, comprises a first portion (10) for attachment to the upper tray and a second portion (14) for attachment to the lower tray, and a central portion for adjustment (12) that extends between the two attachment portions and presents an undulating shape. The central portion is capable of being deformed for moving the attachment portions closer together or further apart.
