[origin: WO2013072600A1] The invention relates to a component (5) for supporting and positioning a bodywork component (7) intended to be juxtaposed with an opening leaf (1) comprising at least one guideway indexing system with a runner (21) and a pair of indexing means (19, 23), the guideway indexing system or systems being intended to collaborate with one or more guideway(s) (27) of a structural body shell element (3) on which the support component (5) is to be fitted. The guideway indexing system allows the support component (5) to be mounted in a predefined position. Removal of the indexing means releases the support component (5) along the axis of translation of the guideway (27) and thus allows the position of the support component (5) to be redefined.
