[origin: WO2013072339A1] A method for treating semi-finished wool that comprises the following steps: - providing the semi-finished wool to be treated; - processing said semi-finished wool so as to lay a wool layer which has a basis weight lower than the basis weight of said semi-finished wool to be treated on a continuous slide surface; - moving forward said wool layer along said advancing direction, said wool layer sliding through one or more plasma treatment stations, at each of which said wool layer passes through a volume in which there is a process gas ionized and/or in a plasma state, at atmospheric pressure.
