[origin: EP2781424A1] The car (2) has a case (4), an access door (8), a floor (6), and an access system (10) to access the car by the access door. The access system includes a chassis (18) rotatably mounted relative to the case along a horizontal axis (X), and a threshold (17) extending from the floor and rotatably mounted relative to the floor about another horizontal axis (Y), where the former axis is offset from the latter axis. The threshold rests on the chassis so that the rotation of the chassis about the former axis causes rotation of the threshold around the latter axis.
