[origin: EP2781866A1] The plate (10) has housing shells (11, 12) made from metal sheet, and insulation material (20) i.e. plate-shaped insulation element, provided between the shells. The shells are connected over a connection device (30) that has a connection element with non-metallic insulation material. The device is arranged along longitudinal sides (17, 18) that comprise a groove profile (28) and a spring profile (27), respectively. The element has a base body, where end sections of the shells are fastened to the sides, respectively. The non-metallic material is arranged between the body and the end sections. The non-metallic material consists of plastic, ceramics, mineral material, glass or wood. The base body is made from metal. An independent claim is also included for a drier system.
