[origin: EP2782428A2] The emergency lighting system (1) has an interface device (51) and two emergency lights (19,21), where the emergency lights and the interface device are transferred on the state data by a radio channel (55). An output contact (63) is formed as a collective fault contact which attains in an on-state in a power failure in a control circuit of a switch of the collective fault contact. The data are forwarded through a condition of the latter emergency light via the former emergency light. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a process for converting data of an emergency lighting system; and (2) a process for inserting an activation signal, for example a fire alarm input, in a data tuple of an emergency lighting system.
