Abstract (en)
[origin: GB2496979A] A marine harness 1 comprises a tow attachment 2, the tow attachment being such that a person wearing the harness can be towed along by way of attaching a tow line (20, Fig 7) to the attachment. The tow attachment is arranged rearwardly of the harness. The tow attachment may comprise a loop formation or a D-shaped eyelet 10. The harness may comprise a first portion 3 arranged to extend around a wearers torso and a second portion 5 arranged to extend over a wearers shoulders. The tow attachment may comprise a webbing or strapping bridle extension 3 that extends between the eyelet and a rearward region of the harness. The harness may be a lifejacket harness.
