Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013076645A1] The invention relates to a derailment-preventing device, comprising, on either side, a flanking element (33) which does not rotate with the corresponding roller (13), and which includes at least one inclined flap (49) that is pivotably hinged between a bottom position, in which the bottom portion (51) thereof extends under the head of the rail, and a top position, in which the bottom portion thereof is laterally spaced apart from the rail. The pivot pin (55) of said flap is inclined upward and located in the rear portion of the flap, above the bottom portion (51) in the bottom position. Said flap is subjected to a downward return force that keeps the flap in the bottom position, but allows the pivotal movement thereof into the top position when an upward force greater than the return force is applied to the bottom portion of said flap.
