[origin: WO2013076103A1] The invention relates to a system (1) for the thermal management of a supercharging air circuit, said supercharging air being supplied by at least one turbocharger (3) and being taken into the combustion cylinders (5) of an internal combustion engine, wherein said thermal management system (1) comprises at least one supercharging-air cooler (7) arranged upstream from the combustion cylinders (5), said thermal management system (1) further comprising a device (9) for passively monitoring the supercharging-air temperature, which is arranged between the turbocharger (3) and said at least one supercharging-air cooler (7).
