[origin: WO2013079392A1] A filtration unit comprising at least two ceramic filter membranes and a holder for the filter membranes, wherein the ceramic filter membranes have a plate-like structure and each have a filtration-active outside and at least one internal discharge channel for filtered water, the holder is formed by a first and a second (104) plastic part which where assembled form a hollow body having an internal collection space via which water coming from the discharge channels can be discharged, the first plastic part is made in one piece and has an opening for each of the ceramic filter membranes, in which opening the filter membranes are fixed in such a way that the internal discharge channels communicate with the collection space, preferably open directly into the collection space, and a preferably metallic or ceramic reinforcement (102) is incorporated into the second plastic part, is described. Furthermore, a process for producing such a filtration unit is described.
