Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2013079656A1] Heat exchanger (1) for gas, particularly for engine exhaust gases, which comprises a plurality of parallel tubes (2) arranged inside a header (3) and through which the gases to be cooled by exchange of heat with a coolant flow, and fins (9) that disturb the flow of the gas and that are arranged inside each tube (2). The tubes (2) and the header (3) comprise a plurality of protrusions (10) and (11) respectively, the distribution pattern and dimensions of which are defined according to the dimensions of the tubes (2) and of the header (3) and which are able to guarantee suitable distribution of the compression between the header (3), the tubes (2) and the fins (9) relative to one another while the heat exchanger (1) is being assembled and brazed in the furnace. Perfect distribution of the compression between the assembled components and good furnace-soldering of the exchanger are thereby achieved.
