[origin: WO2013079626A1] The invention relates to a maintenance cycle for an aircraft which comprises the following steps: a) performance of a maintenance process for an aircraft after a time interval (DeltaTau) which is shorter than or the same as a prescribed maintenance interval (DeltaTauW) has elapsed; b) collection of findings data for at least one maintenance measure as part of the maintenance process; c) archiving of the findings data from step b) and of the time interval DeltaTau; d) ascertainment of at least one coefficient using an automated statistical evaluation of archived findings data for all maintenance processes which arise within a first observation period and/or using the average degree of utilization (G) of the maintenance interval for a second observation period, the first observation period and the second observation period being able to be the same or different; and e) production of an action request for checking and/or adjusting the maintenance interval if the at least one coefficient from step d) is outside a prescribed tolerance range. The invention also relates to a method for assessing and/or monitoring a maintenance program for aircraft, a method for comparing at least two maintenance programs for aircraft, an arrangement for checking and/or adjusting a maintenance interval for an aircraft and a signal sequence.
