Said filler element comprises: a liquid channel (8), formed in a filler element housing (7), which channel can be permeated by the contents, at least one liquid valve (13) in the liquid channel (8), a dispensing opening (10) for dispensing the contents to the respective container (2) when the liquid valve (13) is open, which dispensing opening is provided downstream of the liquid valve (13) in the flow direction of the contents, and a fill level-determining element (17) which determines the desired fill level of the contents in the container (2) and extends through the filler element housing (7).
