[origin: WO2013083545A2] The present invention relates to a supercharging device (1), in particular an exhaust-gas turbocharger (1), preferably of an internal combustion engine, wherein the supercharging device (1) has a compressor (3) which is arranged in a compressor housing (2). Inexpensive production and an increased service life of the compressor housing (2) and thus of the supercharging device (1) are achieved in that the compressor housing (2) is formed as a composite component and has at least two portions (13, 14) which are connected to one another, wherein at least one of the portions (13, 14) is produced from a plastic, and at least one of the portions (13, 14) is produced from a metallic material. The invention also relates to a compressor housing (2) of said type for a supercharging device (1), in particular an exhaust-gas turbocharger (1), preferably of an internal combustion engine.
