[origin: WO2013084115A1] The invention relates to an induction heating device (12), in particular an induction cooking hob device, comprising at least two switching elements (42, 44, 46, 48) which are connected in parallel in at least one operating mode and which are provided for generating a high-frequency alternating current for powering an induction heating element (20, 22, 24, 26) and comprising at least one control unit (14). The aim of the invention is an improved heating behavior. This is achieved in that the control unit (14) is provided in order to control at least two of the at least two switching elements (42, 44, 46, 48) with different activity parameters in at least the first operating mode.
