[origin: EP2584090A2] The iron (1) has a iron sole (2) surmounted by a radiator and a case that includes a posterior surface (33) inscribed in a heel on which the iron rests at time of inactive ironing phases. The radiator comprises a vapor distribution system including a vaporization chamber connected to a recovery cavity (80) of a tartar placed in back of the iron. The cavity includes a descaling opening (84) closed by a removable stopper that is accessible from the outside of the iron. The stopper is placed on the posterior surface of the case.

Fer à repasser (1) comprenant une semelle (2) de repassage surmontée d'un corps chauffant (6) et d'un boitier (3) comprenant une surface postérieure (33) inscrite à l'intérieur d'un talon (4) sur lequel le fer à repasser (1) peut reposer lors des phases inactives de repassage, le corps chauffant (6) comportant un circuit de distribution de vapeur comprenant une chambre de vaporisation (64) reliée à une cavité (80) de récupération du tartre ménagée à l'arrière du fer à repasser (1), la cavité (80) de récupération du tartre comprenant un orifice de détartrage (84) fermé par un bouchon (9) amovible accessible depuis l'extérieur du fer, caractérisé en ce que ledit bouchon (9) est disposé sur la surface postérieure (33) du boitier (3).
