Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2789764A1] Outdoor awning, which comprises a support structure (2) provided with at least two front columns (3), at least one pair of front beams (4, 5) placed to connect such front columns (3), and two pairs of lateral beams (6, 7) each connected on the front part to a corresponding front column (3). Each pair of beams (4, 5; 6, 7) comprises an upper beam (4, 6), which is longitudinally extended between two opposite first ends (12) thereof, and a lower beam (5, 7), which is longitudinally extended between two opposite second ends (13) thereof and is arranged below the corresponding upper beam (4, 6) substantially parallel to the latter. The support structure (2) of the awning also comprises at least two joint elements (19), each of which fixed on the top of a corresponding front column (3), and is provided with first support means (20) fixed to the first end (12) of the upper beams (4, 6) connected to such front column (3), and with second support means (21) fixed to the second end (13) of the lower beams (5, 7) connected to the front column (3) itself. Also constituting an object of the present invention is a process for the assembly of the aforesaid outdoor awning.
