[origin: EP2605086A1] The shock absorber has a pivot shank and a mounting (101) that is provided with a recess (317) for receiving a pivot system (105). The pivot system includes a pivot module (109) in which the pivot shank is inserted. A resilient unit is arranged to enable the pivot module to be mounted and to be suspended to exert axial force onto the pivot module, where the resilient unit includes a diaphragm spring (107). The resilient unit and the pivot module are arranged as one-piece. The resilient unit includes a base that is arranged with a lower face.
