[origin: EP2605367A1] The machine has an active part i.e. stator, comprising magnetic connection elements, and another active part i.e. rotor (1), moved along a predefined movement direction (2) relative to the former active part. The latter active part magnetically interacts with the former active part, and equipped with a magnet device, where the magnet device has Halbach arrays (6-10). The Halbach arrays are arranged at a distance from each other in the movement direction, and cause magnetic flux perpendicular to the movement direction, where cooling medium flows through the latter active part.
