The vacuum cleaner (1) includes a cleaner body (10) provided with a mounting portion (13); a dust container (30) separately mounted to the mounting portion (13), having a compression member (360) to compress dust; and a rotatable cover (15) rotatably disposed at the cleaner body (10), to cover the dust container (30) mounted to the mounting portion (13), wherein the rotatable cover (15) includes a driving device (400) to drive the compression member (360) disposed at the dust container (30).
