In the area of the sending unit, exhaust elements are configured in the pipeline (starting terminal). A compressed air unit used or generating compressed air flow used for ejecting products to the pipeline from the sending unit and required by transferring the products to the receiving unit. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung (10) zum Überführen stabförmiger Artikel der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie, umfassend mindestens eine Sendereinheit (11) mit einer Steuereinrichtung (12) und mindestens einem Sendermodul (13) zum Senden der Artikel in Transportrichtung T, mindestens eine Empfängereinheit (14) mit einer Steuereinrichtung (15) und mindestens einem Empfängermodul (16) zum Empfangen der in Transportrichtung T gesendeten Artikel, mindestens eine jeweils ein Sendermodul (13) mit einem Empfängermodul (16) verbindende Rohrleitung (17) zum Überführen der stabförmigen Artikel von der Sendereinheit (11) an die Empfängereinheit (14), wobei der Rohrleitung (17) im Bereich der Sendereinheit (13) ein (Anfangs-)Entlüftungselement (19) zugeordnet ist, und eine Drucklufteinheit (18) zum Erzeugen der für den Abschuss der Artikel von der Sendereinheit (13) in die Rohrleitung (17) sowie zum Transport der Artikel innerhalb der Rohrleitung (17) zur Empfängereinheit (14) erforderlichen Druckluftströmung, die sich dadurch auszeichnet, dass die Anordnung (10) zusätzlich eine Steuer- und Regelungseinheit (20) umfasst, die zur automatischen und variablen Steuerung und/oder Regelung der Druckluftströmung in Abhängigkeit der durch die Empfängereinheit (14) geforderten Sendeleistung und der Länge der Rohrleitung (17) während des Betriebs der Anordnung (10) ausgebildet und eingerichtet ist. Die Erfindung betrifft auch ein entsprechendes Verfahren.
