[origin: EP2796642A2] The invention relates to a detention facility building (1) with the purpose of making the guards' work more efficient and enhancing security. The building comprises: at least one living premises (2) of the detainees which is formed of at least one pair of storeys with an internal hall, forming a living premises module; the living premise modules are positioned to mirror each other, forming the pairs of living that are connected to each other by the vertical access road of the detainees; the detention facility building comprises an underground parallel tunnel system that connects the pairs of living premises and other buildings of different functions of the closed zone of the detention facility building.
