Abstract (en)
A transformer comprises a primary winding and a secondary winding, wherein a shielding foil sheet is provided between the primary and secondary windings. The sheet comprises a material having a resistivity of more than copper. The shield is to reduce the CM-noise but with a reduction in the additional losses introduced by the shield.
