[origin: US2014345050A1] A support device designed to extend between two long sides of a bed base frame or of a seat base frame so as to support a mattress. Implementations of the device may include a lower section comprising at least one elongate crosspiece suitable for being fastened to respective ones of the two long sides of the frame, an upper section comprising a platform suitable for supporting the mattress, and an intermediate section resiliently interconnecting the lower section and the upper section via a plurality of resilient members that are disposed along the crosspiece. In various implementations, the longitudinal spacing between the two first resilient members that are closest to the first end of the crosspiece is greater than the longitudinal spacing between the two first resilient members that are closest to the middle of the crosspiece.

Dispositif de support (10) destiné à s'étendre entre deux longs pans (1L, 1R) d'un cadre de sommier ou d'assise pour supporter un matelas, ledit dispositif (10) comprenant : une section inférieure (S1) comprenant au moins une traverse (20) longiligne comprenant longitudinalement deux extrémités (22L, 22R) respectivement aptes à être fixées aux deux longs pans (1L, 1R) du cadre, et un milieu (O) à équidistance des deux extrémités (22L, 22R); une section supérieure (S3) comprenant un plateau (40) apte à soutenir le matelas ; et une section intermédiaire (52) reliant élastiquement les sections inférieure (S1) et supérieure (S3) l'une à l'autre à l'aide d'une pluralité d'organes élastiques (30,30A-30H) qui sont disposés le long de la traverse (20), dans lequel l'espacement longitudinal (d1L) entre les deux premiers organes élastiques (30A,30B) les plus proches d'une première extrémité (22L) de la traverse (20) est plus grand que l'espacement longitudinal (d2L) entre les deux premiers organes élastiques (30C,30D) les plus proches du milieu (O) de la traverse (20).
