Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013107445A1] The invention relates to a light module for headlamps, in particular for rail-borne vehicles, for generating a specific light distribution with a light-dark boundary, wherein the light module is characterized by particularly good vibration resistance. For this, the light module has a light source, a primary optical element for collimating the light originating from the light source, a shield for masking out some of the light collimated by the primary optical element and a secondary optical element for projecting light collimated by the primary optical element which is not masked out by the shield, wherein the primary optical element comprises a light-guiding body (14) based on the principle of total internal reflection and having a light entry surface (40) and a light exit surface, wherein the light exit surface comprises at least two surface elements (24, 44) emitting in different directions, and wherein the light-guiding body (14) has at least two integrally formed supporting bodies (26) for fastening, in vibration-resistant fashion, the light-guiding body (14) relative to the light source.
