[origin: WO2013114395A2] A short-circuit fault indicator mechanism adapted for indicating a normal operating condition, a short-circuit condition and an OFF condition of a circuit breaker is disclosed. The short-circuit indicator mechanism comprises a slider, a solenoid, and a rotating arm. The slider is having a first end connecting to a first hook. The slider is having a second end connecting to a solenoid. The slider is slidably movable between a first position and a second position responsive to a plurality of operating conditions of the circuit breaker. The rotating arm is having a second hook that engages and/or disengages with the first hook in the first and second position of the slider respectively. The rotating arm is having an indication flag that indicates the plurality of operating conditions of the circuit breaker.
