Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kreuzleger zur Bildung eines Vlieses aus mehreren Lagen Faserflor, der mindestens ein endlos umlaufendes Einlaufband (2) umfasst, das den Faserflor (3) vom Einlaufbereich des Kreuzlegers (1) bis zu einem Legespalt (11) eines Legewagens fördert, weiterhin umfassend ein weiteres endlos umlaufendes Band, das mit dem Legewagen zusammenwirkt und den Faserflor (3) zusammen mit dem Einlaufband (2) auf einem Auslaufband (15) ablegt. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das weitere umlaufende Band als ein luftdurchlässiges Band ausführbar ist, das mindestens einen luftundurchlässigen Rand aufweist.
