A cycle of operation for a laundry treating appliance (50) having a tub (54) and a rotatable, perforated drum (60) located within the tub and operably coupled with a motor (66) for rotating the drum, the drum (60) at least partially defining a treating chamber for receiving laundry for treatment according to a cycle of operation comprising a pre-wash phase (14) in which a treating chemistry is dispensed and a main wash phase (16).
