The device contains a fluid container, a draining device, a pressure measuring device (25) with a cavity (27) and a pressure sensor (26) for detecting a pressure in the cavity (27). A first pipe device (24) is provided for conducting fluid from the fluid container (22) through the interior (35) of the first pipe device (24, 241) to the cavity (27), and a second pipe device (241) is provided for conducting fluid from the cavity (27) through the interior (35) of the second pipe device (241) to the draining device (28). The device is designed in such a way that all fluid flowing out of the fluid container (22) to the draining device (28) flows through the cavity (27).
